Student of the Month The Sunburst Schools March 2024 Student of the Month was recognized at the April Sunburst School Board Meeting. The high school student of the month was senior Claire Bucklin. Mrs. Kerfoot shared the staffs' reasoning for nominating Claire and why they felt she was a worthy candidate to be recognized. The board commended Claire for her great efforts. She will receive a certificate for being named Student of the Month.

Sunburst Schools is excited to announce that the NTCHS Science Students and the JH Science Students each won 1st Place in the small school division at the Montana Science Fair in Missoula! Great job to all students and staff on continuing the outstanding science tradition at Sunburst Schools!

Does your child like to pretend, sing, and have fun acting out parts with their friends? We have a week of activities for them to use that natural talent. Missoula Children's Theater MCT begins next Monday, April 8, 2024. All students in K-12 are encouraged to participate! All K-6 students must have a permission slip turned in by Friday by 2:30 pm to participate (please contact the office if you need one). Tryouts will be on Monday from 1:30-3:30 pm. After tryouts, students will be given information on their practice times for the remainder of the week. Depending on the part students are selected to play, a small group of students may be asked to stay for a practice session from 3:45-5:45 pm that evening. The practice times for Tuesday-Thursday will be different from in the past. We will have two rehearsal times. The first rehearsal daily will be from 1:30-3:30, and the second rehearsal will be from 3:45-5:45. All rehearsals will be at the high school. Performance day is Friday, April 12th, with a matinee at 1pm and an evening show at 6pm.

The HS Track Meet scheduled for Saturday, April 6th, in Havre has been postponed to Wednesday, April 10th. Practice Friday, 4/5/24, is EARLY at the high school gym at 6:30am.

7th and 8th graders are set up and ready for judging to begin!

JH Track Meet Cancelled The JH Track Meet scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2024, in Cut Bank has been cancelled due to weather.

Reminder for Mrs. Nau's preschool students-No preschool on Wednesday, April 3rd, and Wednesday, April 10th. Mrs. Nau's preschool will resume on Wednesday, April 17th.

Thank you Mac and Darcy from Circle M! We had the best BBQ lesson in Foods class today. We learned tips for barbecuing like a pro, watched Mac prepare a brisket for the BBQ and sampled some delicious pulled pork. We LOVE Circle M BBQ!

Easter Egg Hunt fun in Kiddie Kollege this week! Reminder families - we will not be in school for class next Tuesday. Kiddie Kollege will resume on Tuesday, April 9th.

Track Meet Cancelled The HS track meet scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024, has been cancelled due to the weather.

Easter Break Sunburst Schools will have a 12pm noon dismissal on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. There will be no school March 28-April 2. School will resume on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. We hope everyone has a fun and relaxing Easter break!

Prom 2024 The NTCHS Prom will be held tomorrow, March 23, 2024. Parents and community members are invited to watch Grand March which will begin at 7pm in the NTC Gym. Grand March will also be streamed liv over the Sunburst Schools Facebook Page.
