Science fruit or science vegetable???
Third grade students have been learning about the power of plants! The main focus has been about the fact that flowers are plant structures with the primary function of producing seeds and when flowers produce seeds they are frequently contained in fruit!
In today's activity, students examined common grocery produce to predict if each item was a science fruit or a science vegetable!
5th Art
The 5th grade students joined the Missoula Art Museum via Zoom for their "Art as a Megaphone" program. Our students received instruction and worked on an art project with artist April Werle. Her wonderful work inspired us to create some unique art today. We were very lucky to have the opportunity to participate in this activity that the students all enjoyed so much. Thanks to Mrs. Bergstrom for letting us know about this program!
