The Denton Community wanted to thank everyone for their donations when Sunburst Schools had the free will offering for admission to Refiner basketball games a few weeks ago. Their thank you card is below.

More 2nd quarter awards!

Sunburst Elementary celebrated our students' successes during our 2nd quarter awards assembly. Students were recognized for making the honor roll, Think 30, Rocket Math. Accelerated Reader, Million Word Club, and attendance.

Refiner Basketball Game Update! On Friday, the Sunburst Boys JV basketball game will only be a half game with two 8 minute quarters. This game will tip off at 4:45pm. The Varsity girls game will still begin at 6pm with the Varsity boys game to follow at 7:30pm.

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Sunburst Schools will not have school on Monday, January 17th, in obervance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

Sunburst Schools runs four bus routes daily: 9 Mile driven by Adele Benjamin, Kevin driven by Mike Tobin, Oilmont driven by Lynn Kimmet, and Sweetgrass/Loop Road driven by Justyna May. All transportations services are maintained by transportation director Chris Blair. These folks do a great job of safely transporting our students to and from school daily!

Rescheduled Heart Butte Basketball Games The Refiner basketball games vs. Heart Butte have been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 in Sunburst with Boys JV playing at 4pm, Girls V at 5:30pm, and Boys V at 7pm.

Volleyball and Football Coaching Positions North Toole County High School is accepting applications for Fall 2022 coaching positions for football and volleyball. Please send a cover stating your experience and a list of refernces to Tyler Bucklin and/or Jeff Nix. If you have questions, please contact either of them at 937-2811.

Important Refiner Basketball Update! The Refiner basketball games scheduled vs. Heart Butte for today, Friday, January 7, have been postponed to an unknown future date. Heart Butte is currently dealing with blizzard conditions.

Sunburst Schools wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope everyone has a wonderful and relaxing holiday break. School will resume on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022!

Thanks to all the Refiner and Cascade fans for their generosity, as $1350 will be donated to the Denton Fire Relief Fund. All monies were raised in place of collecting gate fees.
