District 10C Track Meet Information The 10C District Track Meet for North Toole County High School track athletes will be held on Friday, May 12th, at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls, Montana. Field events will start at 9am and the first track events will begin at 10am. The cost for admission is: Adults - $10; Students - $8 You can purchase tickets at the gate or you can use the "Go Fan" app and purchase in advance without cash using the QR code below.

Field Day Elementary field day for students in Kindergarten-6th grade will be held tomorrow, Friday, May 5th, from 12:00-2:30pm. The schedule of events and important information is listed below! It is supposed to be warm and sunny!

Sunburst Staff Awards & Appreciation Sunburst Schools values the wonderful staff members that make our school such an incredible place for our students and community. As part of our special staff appreciation awards, a ceremony was held to honor the staff at Sunburst Schools for their awesome contributions. Sunburst Schools started giving out service pins approximately 6 years ago. We give out service pins at 5 years intervals. This year, special awards were given to the following individuals to thank them for their dedication and incredible service to our district. Miss Tomsheck -- 10 years of service at Sunburst Schools Mrs. Nix -- 15 years of service at Sunburst Schools Mrs. Ryan -- 30 years of service at Sunburst Schools Two staff members, Mr. Nau and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, will be retiring from their educational careers at the conclusion of this school year. Retirement bells were given to Mr. Nau who has been with Sunburst Schools for the past 14 years. Mrs. Smith received her bell in appreciation of her 27 years of service to the district. We thank them for their efforts and dedication to Sunburst Schools. To finish off our celebration, all staff members received a new Sunburst Schools hoodie. We are all very prideful of the wonderful students, parents, staff, and community who all have a hand in making Sunburst Schools such a wonderful place.

Sunburst School District #2 Election Results The election results have been tallied. With a 53% turnout and 302 valid ballots, the vote to fill the two open school board of trustee positions was as follows: Lyle Benjamin - 217 Marlena F. McAlpine - 216 Caitlin A. Roark - 94 Kelsey J. Tomsheck-Buckley - 49

Refiner Track and Field Great week for the Refiner Track & Field team! We officially have three athletes qualified for state! Connor Sullivan: 100m dash Claire Bucklin: 100m Hurdles & 300m Hurdles Nikki Nau: 3200m run Nikki also set a new school record!! Today the 2nd graders built 2D shapes using licorice. They were asked to build a shape using specific geometric information such as a shape that has 4 sides and 4 angles. They then had to identify and name the shape they created!

Spring Fling Fun Run The 2nd Annual Spring Fling Fun Run will be held on Wednesday, May 3. There will be a one mile run/walk at 2:30pm and a 5k at 3pm. All events will begin at the NTC Football Field Area. The cost to participate is $5 per individual or 5 for $20. All proceeds will be going to help assist students/families that need assistance purchasing athletic tickets/passes, etc. This event is being put on by Claire Bucklin and Gabby Cosme as part of their National Honor Society Project. Independence Bank Visits 3rd Grade Sunburst Elementary 3rd graders had a great opportunity to learn more about savings and good money habits thanks to the assistance of Independence Bank. The ladies shared ideas with students about saving and budgeting money. Thank you Independence Bank for sharing your knowledge and skills with our students as well as your continued support of Sunburst Schools!

Happy Secretary's Day Miss Lori & Miss Val Today Sunburst Schools honors our incredible secretaries at the elementary and JH/HS, Miss Lori and Miss Val. Concert Tonight! Please join us for the NTC Junior High and High school Spring Concert this evening! This performance will take place in the Sunburst High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. Students have been working hard to prepare a beautiful selection of music to close out our school year!
