Custodial Appreciation Week
Sunburst Elementary wants to recognize our incredible custodians (Miss Lori Miss Brandi, Miss Lorrie, and Mr. Lynn) as we would be an absolute mess without them. We are honoring them throughout the week of Oct. 3-7 as part of custodial appreciation week.
Mr. Lynn has been a custodian at Sunburst Schools for many years. This year, we have struggled to find another custodian. In the meantime, Miss Lori, Miss Lorrie, and Miss Brandi have stepped up on top of their regular duties and done an incredible job of making our school shine!
Thank you to these wonderful folks for their dedication and efforts to Sunburst Elementary School!

Ledger art Ledger art flourished primarily from the 1860s to the 1920s. A revival of ledger art began in the 1960s and 1970s. Native Americans began using the pages of old ledger accounting books (formerly used by Indian Agents, traders, and military officers) to record their visual history. I have a few of my favorite pieces of Ledger Art hanging in my classroom as well as some additions created by my 4th grade class! Peep them in the background!!
