5th/6th to MT WILD
Today our students had the opportunity to visit MT WILD, a part of Montana FWP, in Helena. Students got to fish, shoot archery, bird watch, and learn a lot about bats. More pictures will be available on our Facebook page.
2023 Graduation
The Class of 2023 welcomes everyone to Graduation this Saturday, May 20, at 1pm at the NTCHS Gymnasium.
Today for Shadow Day, the seventh grade students mentored the sixth grade class. They all had fun completing various assignments while practicing what a school day will look like in the fall of 2023.
Spring Music Programs
The Sunburst Elementary Spring Music Programs will be on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in the Sunburst Elementary Gym. All programs will be streamed live via our Facebook page.
The Kindergarten-2nd grade program will be at 1:30pm.
The 3rd/4th grade program will be at 2:00pm.
The 5th/6th grade program will be held at 2:30pm. The 5th/6th recital pieces will be added to the end of their concert.
Northern C Divisional Track
The Northern C Divisional Track Meet will be held on Thursday and Friday, May 18 and 19, at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls. The cost to attend is $10 per day or $18 for both days.

Refiner Track and Field
The Refiner track team had a very successful outing at the District 10C track meet in Great Falls on Friday, May 12th, with the girls bringing home a 2nd place team trophy and the boys finishing 4th. We had many athletes make the podium in a variety of events.

Happy Mother's Day
The 2nd grade class made beautiful flower bouquets for their mothers.
Sunny days present the perfect opportunity for the FCS class to hone their grilling skills.
4th Grade participated in Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen's Law Enforcement Appreciation Poster Contest this year and our own Levi Taylor was the District 8 Winner!!
Levi won an ice cream social with a local MHP trooper and it was none other than NTC Alumnus, Monte Richmond!!

2023 Graduation
The Class of 2023 Seniors at NTCHS will be spending their last week at school before Graduation this Saturday, May 20, at 1pm at the NTCHS Gymnasium. Please see where they all began 13 years ago!
6th Grade Shadow Day
All 6th graders will participate in shadow day on Monday, May 15, 2023. The information was sent home with all 6th grade students on May 10.
The 6th grade students will begin their day at the JH/HS building and be there until after lunch.
Today our AP Chemistry class worked with alloys to change the physical appearance of pennies from copper to silver and gold.
Important 5/6 Music Recital Update
The 5/6 music recital scheduled for today will be cancelled due to sickness. We will look to reschedule for a future date.

MSU-Northern Basketball Camp

Kindergarten & Preschool Fun
Today the kindergarten and preschool students had fun learning about ponds and doing a variety of activities to learn more about ponds, counting ducks, and so much more!
High School Awards Night - May 11th @ 5:30pm
All high school students, 8th grade basketball players and families are invited to attend.
Elementary Yearbooks
Elementary yearbooks will be coming home on Monday, May 15! Please look for them in backpacks.
Updated District Track and Field Schedule
Below is the updated District 10C Track and Field Schedule. Districts are at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls on May 12, 2023.
Congratulations to Elijah Scribner and Michael Miller for taking 1st place in the Big Sky Biz Sim. Together Elijah and Michael took over a business company and raised their final stock price to $81.88, the highest price among all participating high schools in the state of Montana. Together the two freshman students will split the $500 cash prize.
This simulation is put together by the Montana Council for Economic Education. The Council puts on the business simulation and stock market game every semester for all Montana schools and is sponsored by First Interstate Bank.
5th/6th Music Spotlight
The 5th/6th band students will have a special music spotlight performance on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 2:30pm in the Sunburst Elementary Music room. Students will be playing solos, duets, and full band pieces! Please come and support our young musicians.
